Visalia ยท Tulare County
About Cen Cal Electricians
An electrical contractor in Visalia for homes, businesses, farms, and industrial sites, and a free directory of local electricians within about 60 miles.
Who does the work
The owner holds a California C-10 electrical contractor license and runs a journeyman crew. We take electrical work within about 60 miles of Visalia: repairs, panel upgrades, EV chargers, backup power, commercial and industrial jobs, and farm electrical.
We pull the permit for permitted work and meet the inspector. Most cities issue their own permits, and a few, such as Exeter, use the county. Outside city limits, the county issues them.
Where we work
Within about 60 miles of Visalia: Tulare and Kings counties, most of Fresno County, and parts of Kern and Madera counties, including Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, Exeter, Farmersville, Lindsay, Woodlake, Dinuba, Kingsburg, Lemoore, Porterville, Selma, Reedley, Corcoran, Sanger, Fresno, Delano, and Clovis.
Why we list other electricians
Not every job fits our calendar, and some people want to compare. So every city page also lists local shops from Google Maps data, pulled on Oct 5, 2026.
The order comes from distance, or from Google rating weighed by review count, as the "How this list is ranked" note on each list explains. No listing is a paid placement. Stars show only when Google has real reviews, and every distance is labeled as approximate.
The other shops are independent businesses. We have not checked their licenses, so look each one up on cslb.ca.gov before you hire. Call and website links on a listing go straight to that shop, and Directions opens Google Maps. We do not see that call.
How we write these pages
Cen Cal Electricians writes the service pages, the guides, and the town pages.
Permit offices link to the issuing office's own page. Each full town page lists the sources for its local facts, such as the utility and the climate zone.
We publish no prices. Time estimates are general trade ranges, not quotes. Job examples appear only when they come from our own jobs, with a date.
Safety advice uses one set of levels on every page: sparks, smoke, or a burning smell means leave and call 911. A hot breaker, a buzzing panel, or exposed live wire means an electrician right away.
