Privacy policy

When you use Get help now on Cen Cal Electricians, you send your email, your ZIP or city, and, if you want, a phone number and a short description of the job. We also store the page you were on, the type of job if the button you used set one, the time of the request in Pacific Time, and the approximate location that our host adds to each request (city, region, and postal code when present). Earlier versions of our forms also asked for your name, and some older requests record the listing you tapped.

Our host also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the site. We keep your IP address in server memory for up to 10 minutes to limit repeated requests, and we do not store it with your request.

We use your request to reply to you about the job by phone, text, or email. Your request goes to Cen Cal Electricians only. If we cannot take the job, we tell you which shop to call. We give that shop your details only if you say yes, and no shop pays us for a referral. We do not sell or share personal information.

Service providers handle it for us: Vercel hosts the site and keeps requests in private storage that is not part of the public website, Resend delivers each request by email, and our email provider stores it in our inbox. Resend also receives mail sent to any @cencalelectricians.com address and forwards it to the owner's inbox.

We keep a request until you ask us to delete it.

This site runs no analytics, no ad pixels, and no tracking cookies, and no third party collects your browsing across sites through it. Because there is no cross-site tracking, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to turn off.

"Use my location" works only in your browser. It finds the nearest city on your device, and we never receive your coordinates.

Call and website links on a listing go straight to that shop, and Directions opens Google Maps. We do not see or receive that call. Listing phones and addresses come from Google data.

When you send a request, you agree that Cen Cal Electricians may call, text, or email you about that request. We send each text by hand from a phone, not from an automated texting service. Reply STOP, or tell us, and we stop texting you. Agreeing is not a condition of hiring us.

Write to leads@cencalelectricians.com to see what we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us contacting you. We reply within 45 days.

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
